Art in the Park 8-2017 Winchester Massachusetts' Art in the Park (AIP) started in 2000 as a one day showcase, on the Winchester Common, of the work of the Winchester Artists Network (WAN). In the same year, Art in August (AIA), started as a month long display of WAN artists in over two dozen Winchester business establishments. Originally sponsored by the Downtown Business Association, both AIP and AIA are now sponsored by the Winchester Cultural Council.. |

Jumelage Sign Dedication Ceremony The Massachusetts Winchester Jumelage Association dedicated a sign honoring Winchester's French twin city, Saint-Germain-en-Laye, France. For 26 years, since 1990, Winchester and Saint-Germain-en-Laye have been twin cities. A short story of how these two towns became twins is told. The sign now stands on the west side of Winchester's Town Hall. |
